End of June

It's hard to imagine, but the school year has been over for a month already…wow! I've been busy enough: end of year teachers' meetings; working on projects for the upcoming school year; visiting family in the Milwaukee area; shopping; "spring cleaning" my house; taking walks; riding my bike…

The big projects that require other people: last December I had somewhat of a flood in my basement, right now there's a painter painting the basement floor and walls. Two windows that are original to my 1940's house are getting replaced, which meant that the window frames needed painting…that painting was finished yesterday.

I know that my Lord and Savior already lives in my future, and I trust Him to take care of me. But another project I've been working on: retirement planning. I figure retirement is 10-15 years away, but I need to know if there will be enough $$ when I finally decide to hang-up my whistle.

God's blessings!

Psalm 121:7-8
The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
